My chandelier

009
Even though I bought this last year, I thought I would write about sit since when I got it I didn't have a blog.  This chandelier was such a steal!  I got it at a very popular garage sale and I was so lucky to be able to get it.  It was under a tent and looked like it was just set aside and nobody was paying it any mind.  It wasn't marked and I must of passed by it 15 times before asking the lady how much it was.  It is very heavy and not marked.  I don't know if it is old or not, but I love it.  The crystals didn't come with it and the shades didn't either.  I found both of those at the thrift store as well as the red berry napkin rings that are at the top.  The berries were .99 cents for the two.  The crystals came in a big bag with lots more crystals for $2.50.  The shades were$4.50 for the 6 of them and the chandelier was are you ready for this...... $5.00!!!!!   People were trying to buy it away from me as I was paying for it!!  I also had my husband spray paint a round silver tray that we picked up at an estate sale for .50 cents.  He then cut a large hole in the center of it and it is now a ceiling medallion.

Do you have any yard sales that you look forward to going back to year after year?
