Since I didn't get to do any "real" thrifting this past weekend I thought I would share a find from the recent past.
There is an older lady near here that had been a collector and has a garage sale each year that is just to die for!!
I picked up several items from her, put since I was rearranging tonight I thought I would share just one.
You might remember my fabulous chippy dresser from this post.
And this
And this
Well most recently it looked like this
And after adding my instant ancestors
Here are a few more pictures of my picture
Believe it or not this fabulous vintage photo with the frame was only $3.00. I picked this up in May during my birthday weekend. I'm still amazed that I was able to get this for just $3.00 it is 14x16 inches.
Does anyone out there have any idea what era this may be from? Also are these school uniforms or a children's choir?

ReplyDeleteLovely display Michelle.
Best wishes,

Trust me, children's choir robe. I have a photo of me wearing mine. I also have a lot of photos of folks I don't know, that I call instant relatives as well. Fun to decorate with. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI am trying again! I like those egg cups, but I don't think I would be very good eating out of one! Someone somewhere had a good idea of a cool way to use them, and AND NOW I FORGET!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute vignette!
ReplyDeleteLove the nostalgia!
