A First Taste of Strawberries!!

I have wanted to write this post for a while and thought Rednesday at It's a Very Cherry World would be the perfect time.

A  few weeks back we got a notice from our electricity company that they would be doing work on the lines and would be shutting off the electricity for about 5 hours.  So we decided to make a day of it and go to the lake and picnic and then go strawberry picking.  Our youngest daughter doesn't remember the last time we went and this was the first time for the baby.

It was so beautiful.  We found such a nice patch that was not commercial.  We were the only ones picking besides the farmer and his wife.
